About the position
The Fuel Center Clerk at Kroger is responsible for assisting customers, managing the cash register, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the fuel center. This part-time role emphasizes customer service and adherence to company policies and safety standards, while promoting a respectful and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers at the fuel center
- Manage cash register operations
- Maintain neatness and cleanliness of the fuel center
- Recover stock and manage inventory
- Fill out incident and security reports
- Maintain compliance documentation
- Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety
- Pump gas and complete daily tours and inspections
- Clean up fuel spills and complete Fuel Spill Reports
- Perform cashier functions and answer telephones
- Comply with corporate policies and safety guidelines
- Promote and follow company initiatives
- Maintain knowledge of emergency plans, numbers, and procedures
- Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
Requirements
- Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work without direct supervision
