About the position
The Fuel Clerk position at MAV KG LLC involves managing accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate documentation and billing for fuel deliveries, and maintaining organized records. This role is essential for supporting the convenience store operations by verifying invoices and assisting with reconciliations, all while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Enter invoices from fuel suppliers including verifying proper supporting documentation
- Accurately enter driver fuel delivery orders to prepare for billing
- Ensure driver paperwork matches delivery reports and the fuel load is billed to the proper store location
- Maintain accurate filing of bill of ladings, invoices, and delivery tickets
- Reconcile vendor payments
- Assist manager with period reconciliation and miscellaneous audits
- Communicate with stores and drivers to assure documentation accuracy
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma is required
- 1+ years experience in an accounts payable functions role preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to operate independently without continuous oversight
- Proven ability to effectively prioritize and balance competing needs
- Experience in exercising initiative and sound judgment in decision-making
Nice-to-haves
- Any additional college-level course completion is a plus
