The Fuel Facility Manager at Menzies Aviation is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing all station-based operations at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position entails ensuring operational performance, safety, security, and compliance with industry standards. The manager will be accountable for achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) in alignment with budgetary and performance specifications. This role requires collaboration with business leaders to define strategies and commercial activities, focusing on customer satisfaction, business development opportunities, and the successful integration of new locations. The Fuel Facility Manager will lead the day-to-day operations of the station, ensuring that all activities are conducted safely and securely while meeting customer expectations. A significant aspect of the role involves assisting contractors with operational details to ensure that the LAXFUEL Integration Project does not disrupt functional systems. The manager will also be responsible for revising and implementing quality assurance procedures to meet or exceed ATA 103 requirements, with a primary focus on delivering safe operations for both customers and employees. In addition to operational oversight, the manager will provide clear leadership to the operational team, driving performance and achieving financial, operational, and customer service targets. This includes monitoring employee engagement levels and fostering a positive culture within the organization. Regular updates on financial performance and business outlook will be communicated to key stakeholders and the Americas Leadership team. As a member of the Americas Executive team, the Fuel Facility Manager will contribute to the strategic development of the region, ensuring that operational excellence is maintained across all functions.
