Responsibilities

• Deliver HAZMAT fuel loads to Casey's stores in a timely manner.

• Adhere to all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and state motor vehicle laws.
• Maintain safe operation of the vehicle and comply with DOT rules and regulations.
• Handle hazardous materials in accordance with regulations.

Requirements

• Must possess a current Class A Commercial Driver's License with hazardous material and tank endorsements.
• Must have a current Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• At least one year of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience is required.
• Solid knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations is required.
• Understanding of state motor vehicle laws and DOT rules and regulations is necessary.
• Knowledge of equipment and procedures to maintain safe vehicle operation is essential.
• Knowledge of hazardous materials (HAZMAT) regulations is required.
• Ability to drive for long periods and adjust vehicle controls for safe driving is necessary.
• Functional reading, writing, and math skills are required.
