About the position

The Fulfillment Lead/Data Analyst at Current Lighting Employee Co LLC is responsible for optimizing material requirements to ensure timely shipments while minimizing inventory exposure. This role involves data analysis related to on-time shipments, master data accuracy in SAP, supplier performance, and product availability, playing a crucial role in the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process.

Responsibilities

  • Lead periodic SIOP discussions with Sales and Product Management to develop a consensus plan at least monthly.
  • Perform inventory and product planning calculations based on projections and history, managing MRP settings in SAP to maximize On Time Ship (OTS) and achieve inventory goals.
  • Act as the centralized contact for Customer Service, Fulfillment Leads from global poles, Technology, Product Management, Sales, Sourcing, and Manufacturing regarding supply/demand of Specialty Lighting products.
  • Participate actively in the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop inventory and product phase-in/phase-out plans, including production, sales, and inventory transition plans for new products and for products being eliminated/replaced.
  • Interface with the supplier base and buyer to communicate forecasts and manage delivery schedules to meet customer requirements.
  • Support localization strategies, engineering initiatives, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) programs.
  • Encourage lean methodology, identifying risks, timing, and cost/benefit impacts to product lines.
  • Lead supply chain discussions on Commercial Quality Management Initiatives (QMI's).
  • Facilitate Product Life Cycle discussions for Specialty Lighting and implement necessary changes.

Requirements

  • BS/BA Degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain.
  • 5 - 7 years of relevant operations experience including scheduling, planning, inventory control, and supply chain.
  • Proven leadership ability.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, sound judgment, initiative, and creativity.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interface with personnel at different organizational levels.
  • Customer-focused with a high energy and proactive approach to improving customer experience.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience working with Asian suppliers.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S4 HANA, IBP, and/or equivalent ERP systems.
  • APICS certification.
