About the position

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Fulfillment, Logistics, & Operations Specialist to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. This full-time, in-person, direct hire position offers a unique opportunity to manage projects from inception to completion in a dynamic, project-based, and deadline-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing shipping plans and schedules that align with clients' fulfillment objectives, ensuring that all logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you will maintain program estimators and cost monitors throughout the project lifecycle, providing timely updates as necessary. You will also monitor inventory levels, allocate materials, and coordinate shipping efforts to ensure that products meet their scheduled arrival times. Additionally, you will be tasked with generating reports and metrics for management and clients, addressing any inquiries or requests for updates regarding shipments and orders. Data management is a critical aspect of this position, which includes tracking files and performance data, as well as importing client data into various trackers and kit grids. You will also oversee work orders, manage invoicing for clients, and handle receivables. Problem-solving skills are essential, as you will need to adapt to changing circumstances while maintaining close communication with all parties involved in the logistics process.

Responsibilities

  • Develop shipping plans and schedules to meet clients' fulfillment objectives.
  • Maintain program estimators and cost monitors throughout the project and provide updates as needed.
  • Monitor inventory, allocate materials, and coordinate shipping to ensure product meets arrival schedules.
  • Provide reports and metrics to management and to the client regarding shipments, orders, etc.
  • Manage data including tracking files and performance data, importing client data into trackers and kit grids.
  • Monitor work orders, invoicing clients, and managing receivables.
  • Problem solve and adapt while maintaining close communication with all parties involved.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and Inventory Management Systems, with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Ability to manage and analyze data within Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with warehouse personnel and client executives.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize different projects with a high degree of accuracy.

Benefits

  • Direct hire position with a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $60,000 depending on experience.
  • Opportunity to work in a finished office space adjacent to the Baltimore Distribution Center.
