About the position

The position is located in Carson, CA, and involves responsibilities related to logistics and inventory management. The role requires confirming the receipt of shipments, performing quality checks, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. The candidate will also assist in preparing shipping documents and tracking shipments while updating customers on order status.

Responsibilities

• Confirm to receive pre-alert (from the China side) and shipment upon arrival, perform quality check (by visual) to make sure no damaged items, follow up with clients to make sure there are no inventory discrepancies.
• Communicate with the operation team to ensure timely order fulfillment, and manage inventory as per request.
• Assist in preparing shipping documents, packing slips and labels, DO, BOL, etc.
• Track shipments, update customers on order status as needed, and respond to inquiries regarding order status, shipping delays, and product availability.

Requirements

• High school degree, college degree preferred.
• 1-year related experience in the logistics/express/delivery industry.
• Ability to perform all tasks thoroughly and effectively in a tight time frame and high level of accuracy.
• Highly organized, able to prioritize and expedite to complete the job and meet all requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate Excel skills are required.
• Team player, physical work may be required.
• Able to operate the pallet jack is a plus.
• Being bilingual in English and Chinese is highly preferred.
