About the position

The Fulfillment Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the fulfillment staff, ensuring efficient workflow and order processing in a warehouse environment. This role involves managing team leads and production associates, optimizing staffing, and meeting key performance indicators while maintaining compliance with safety regulations. The supervisor will also engage in continuous improvement initiatives and handle various administrative tasks related to performance management and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily work of Fulfillment staff, including team leads and production associates.
• Direct the flow of work to meet objectives and ensure even flow of orders on the processing line.
• Motivate, guide, and train staff to meet production goals.
• Responsible for order prioritization and optimizing staffing to meet company objectives.
• Meet or exceed key performance indicators and production results.
• Work with Continuous Improvement and Quality & Compliance groups to address workflow issues.
• Manage performance of team leads and production associates, including timecard administration.
• Handle controlled substance and hazardous waste management.
• Provide daily production reporting as requested by management.
• Manage additional projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a distribution/warehouse environment.
• Two (2) years supervisory experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact with varying levels of organization members.
• Experience in cross-functional team participation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Technical skillset including ERP, WMS, WAS, BI, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to drive and adapt to change.
• Experience managing safety and following OSHA regulations.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours per day and lift up to 20 pounds.
