About the position
Appletree Learning Center is seeking Full and Part-Time Teachers who are passionate about working with children. The role involves supervising and ensuring the safety and well-being of children, assisting in curriculum planning, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Ideal candidates should possess strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
- Assist assigned Group Leader in planning curriculum for assigned age group.
- Implement the daily program for assigned age group.
- Decorate the room with bulletin boards, pictures, and children's artwork.
- Prepare snacks and lunches and sit with children while they eat.
- Keep rooms, storage rooms, and bathrooms clean, neat, and orderly.
- Attend in-service training.
- Assume temporary responsibilities of Group Leader in their absence.
- Report any special needs or problems of individual children to Group Leader and/or Director.
- Comply with applicable universal precautions and infection control guidelines.
- Drive center van on field trips and/or transport children to and from elementary schools.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Willingness to take mandatory training.
