Moody & O'Neal CPAs is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper/Accountant to join their client accounting service team. This role involves providing comprehensive bookkeeping services for clients, including bank reconciliations, payroll assistance, and monthly financial write-ups. The position is based in Mount Pleasant, SC, and may also be located in Summerville. The firm is known for its expertise in tax services and consulting, and the ideal candidate will have significant experience in bookkeeping and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide full bookkeeping services for clients, including bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Assist with payroll preparation and 1099 preparation.
• Handle sales tax filings for clients.
• Communicate effectively with partners, managers, and clients throughout the engagement process.
• Manage various client relationships with minimal oversight.

Requirements

• 2 to 10+ years of extensive bookkeeping experience.
• Expert knowledge and experience with QuickBooks.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
