About the position

Our client in El Paso is looking for hardworking, motivated talent to join their team as a Full Charge Bookkeeper. This role is vital for managing the financial records and transactions of the company, requiring strong attention to detail and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining general ledgers, processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with governmental accounting regulations. You will work with multiple client companies, cleaning and maintaining their books, and ensuring that all financial records are accurate and up to date using accounting software, specifically QuickBooks Online. This position offers a clean and safe work environment and a temp-to-hire opportunity, allowing for growth within the company. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, providing a stable full-time schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain general ledgers for multiple client companies.
  • Process payroll and maintain employee records.
  • Ensure compliance with governmental accounting regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software, specifically QuickBooks Online.
  • Clean and maintain financial books for clients.

Requirements

  • Proficient in all aspects of bookkeeping, including GAAP experience and general ledger maintenance.
  • Familiarity with account reconciliation techniques.
  • Proficient using accounting software, specifically QuickBooks Online.
  • Strong attention to detail and understanding of accounting principles.
