About the position
We are seeking a Full-Charge Bookkeeper with tax experience to join our established and growing boutique CPA firm. The ideal candidate will manage bookkeeping projects and ensure that completed work is handed off to tax preparers. This full-time position offers a supportive small office environment with the benefits of a larger firm.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-charge bookkeeping tasks including payroll, 1099s, and sales tax.
- Prepare and organize financial documents for tax preparers.
- Maintain meticulous records and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding bookkeeping and tax-related inquiries.
- Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Office for bookkeeping tasks.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience with tax experience.
- Associate degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks desktop software.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
