About the position
The Full Charge Bookkeeper will manage all aspects of the accounting processes for the company, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with tax regulations. This role involves providing insightful financial analysis to support business decisions and requires proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero and QuickBooks.
Responsibilities
- Manage all bookkeeping duties including bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations.
- Code and match transactions in the bank feed of QuickBooks.
- Post journal entries and payroll.
- Assist the team with accounting and tax-related questions.
- Review, analyze, and provide financial statements, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets for management and CPA office.
Requirements
- Proficient in QuickBooks, including posting bills, checks, client deposits, and general ledger entries.
- Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Ability to collaborate with CPA for tax preparation and compliance.
- Experience in preparing 1099's and processing business licenses.
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel.
- Expertise with chart of accounts and Ten Key by touch.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Xero accounting software.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
