About the position

The Full Charge Bookkeeper will oversee various accounting and financial operations within the hospitality industry, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage daily operations, perform reconciliations, and handle customer account management effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily audits of sales receipts for club operations and food & beverage units.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including automated payroll.
  • Conduct monthly bank account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly financial statements.
  • Oversee and perform inventory analysis, including costing and reconciliation.
  • Ensure the accurate recording and updating of customer credit information.
  • Process customer credit applications promptly and efficiently.
  • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as needed.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and IBS/EZ Suite Software for accounting tasks and financial reporting.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Accounting Functions
  • Expertise in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Ability to perform Cash Flow Analysis
  • Experience in Inventory Reconciliation
  • Knowledge of Month End Close procedures
  • Familiarity with Automated Payroll systems
  • Expertise in Monthly Reconciliation
  • Proficiency in Financial Reporting
  • Knowledge of Costing techniques
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
