About the position

The Full Charge Bookkeeper role at Robert Half is a contract position that is fully remote, focusing on managing financial records and ensuring accuracy in accounting processes. The position requires effective communication with team members and adherence to financial regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently process payroll in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Record all financial transactions in accordance with double entry bookkeeping principles, ensuring journal entries are accurate.
  • Handle accounts payable duties, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and vendor statement reconciliation.
  • Oversee all aspects of general ledger accounting, balancing accounts and resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Regularly perform account reconciliation to ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Produce financial reports reflecting the company's financial status, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Provide support during audits or reviews by external parties and assist with emerging technical accounting issues.
  • Stay abreast of financial concepts and public accounting standards to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Utilize SAP and other accounting software systems effectively for various accounting functions.
  • Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required
  • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is mandatory
  • Familiarity with Computerized Accounting Systems is essential
  • Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) is expected
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary
  • Ability to perform various Accounting Functions is crucial
  • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) management is required
  • Expertise in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is critical
  • Experience in Annual Budget preparation is needed
  • Competency in Cash Flow Analysis is indispensable
