As a Full-Charge Bookkeeper at Gordon Advisors, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our diverse client base. This position offers the flexibility of both full-time and part-time schedules, allowing you to work in various environments, including our office, on-site at client locations, and remotely from home. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts receivable and payables, maintaining the general ledger, preparing financial statements, and overseeing payroll for our clients. You will also handle monthly and annual sales tax return preparation and payments, conduct corporate bank account reviews and reconciliations, and perform end-of-month and year-end close processes. Your expertise will be essential in researching, troubleshooting, and providing recommendations for clients regarding various accounting issues. We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of five years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience and possess an Accounting Associate degree or equivalent experience. Strong proficiency in QuickBooks is essential, along with a professional presentation and conduct. The ideal candidate will be responsible, self-managed, and possess excellent follow-up skills. Additionally, knowledge of corporate tax payments and filings is a plus.
