About the position
The Full Charge Bookkeeper at Talamore Country Club is responsible for managing the complete bookkeeping functions for multiple corporate entities, including golf, food and beverage, lodging, and property management. This role requires a high level of expertise in QuickBooks and accounting principles, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. The position is available for both full-time and part-time applicants, and offers some flexibility in scheduling, though it is primarily an in-office role.
Responsibilities
- Maintain full bookkeeping for multiple corporate entities.
- Utilize QuickBooks for accounting tasks and reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Manage payroll and contracts as needed.
- Ensure accurate filing and record-keeping practices.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
Requirements
- Ten+ years of bookkeeping experience.
- High level of expertise in QuickBooks Pro.
- Accounting degree preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Excellent analytical and math skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with POS systems.
- Familiarity with general ledger accounting.
- Ability to learn new software platforms quickly.
