About the position

We are seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks in a rapidly growing and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in QuickBooks and knowledge of other ERP systems such as NetSuite. This full-time position involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and collaborating with other departments to ensure proper financial tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and process weekly invoices, bills, and expense reports.
  • Receive and deposit checks via CashPro.
  • Manage Positive pay.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Reconcile weekly freight invoices, credit card payments, and expenses.
  • Make journal entries and month-end balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.
  • Maintain accurate financial records by recording all transactions and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and sales, to ensure accurate recording and tracking of financial transactions.
  • Perform other related duties and ad-hoc.

Requirements

  • Preferred 3+ years bookkeeping experience
  • Experience with Excel/V-lookup and QuickBooks Pro is a must
  • Typing speed of at least 40 wpm
  • Ten Key by touch is a must
  • Knowledge of Accounting Concepts
