About the position

The Full Charge Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of Summs Skip and Collateral Solutions. This position involves managing financial records, processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills, contributing to the overall success of the accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable, and receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate reporting of financial transactions.
• Process payroll and ensure timely payment of taxes and other deductions.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management review.
• Monitor cash flow and manage invoices and receipts.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial regulations.
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
