About the position

Abbey Management Services is seeking a part-time Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their remote bookkeeping team. This role involves managing the day-to-day accounting and finance requirements for multiple companies, with opportunities for growth into a full-time position. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain client relationships while ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting and finance requirements for multiple companies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure accuracy in all financial records.
  • Handle customer invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
  • Maintain the general ledger and prepare financial statements.
  • Manage and process payroll with a third-party vendor.
  • Record payroll entries in QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop.
  • Coordinate work with company personnel and manage accounting staff.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Full Charge Bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must-have.
  • Experience with customer invoicing, accounts payable, and receivable.
  • Ability to reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement preparation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with data entry and record keeping.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Docs.
