About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting and financial management, with the ability to handle all aspects of bookkeeping for our organization. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a solid understanding of financial concepts. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the general ledger, including journal entries, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in all transactions.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, including income statements and cash flow statements.
  • Utilize Sage and other financial software to manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
  • Conduct regular account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with management to develop budgets and forecasts based on financial data.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures while adhering to industry regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation for audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role within an accounting environment.
  • Strong technical accounting skills with proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage.
  • Excellent understanding of financial concepts, including bank reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Ability to analyze accounts effectively and prepare detailed financial reports.
  • Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with team members and management.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Spanish speaking is a plus.
