About the position

The Full Charge Bookkeeper will manage the financial transactions of an e-commerce company, primarily dealing with platforms like Amazon, Wayfair, and Overstock. This role involves overseeing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, and generating financial reports. The Bookkeeper will collaborate with operations and sales teams to ensure accurate financial recording and reporting, while also reconciling accounts and maintaining up-to-date financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Process invoices and payments
• Generate balance sheets and weekly/monthly P&L reports
• Reconcile accounts and prepare financial statements
• Maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Work with operations and sales teams to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping in an e-commerce environment
• Experience with Amazon and other e-commerce platforms
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent Excel skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite
