About the position

The Full Charge Bookkeeper will manage all financial transactions for a property management client, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. This role involves preparing financial statements, conducting reconciliations, and collaborating with internal teams to provide financial insights that support strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the company's financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations
• Monitor and manage budgeting for apartments and HOAs to support financial decision-making
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support strategic planning initiatives
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports for audits and regulatory compliance
• Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in accounting standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field OR 3+ years of relevant experience
• Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysis
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
