Spherion Gainesville, FL is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage the comprehensive accounting functions of a client company. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health of the organization, encompassing responsibilities such as accounting, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and purchasing. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will report directly to the President/CEO, providing essential financial insights and maintaining accurate financial records. This is a permanent position with a full-time schedule, typically from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and offers a competitive salary range of $40,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong organizational skills, and have a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. In this role, the Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger and all bookkeeping needs for the company. This includes managing payroll systems and records, ensuring timely processing of payroll, payroll tax deposits, and payroll tax returns. The position also involves overseeing accounts receivable and payable systems, as well as product purchasing and inventory management systems, specifically utilizing the ConnectWise PSA Product Catalog. The successful candidate will create and maintain a Standard Operating Procedures Manual for all accounting functions, ensuring consistency and compliance in financial reporting. Additionally, the Full Charge Bookkeeper will provide financial information to management through daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports that effectively convey the financial performance and well-being of the company. Preparing key financial reports on a monthly basis is a critical aspect of this role, as is maintaining vehicle records and processing DMV renewals for all company vehicles. The Full Charge Bookkeeper may also be assigned other duties as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the company's financial operations.
