About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage all aspects of the accounting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. This role is crucial for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role in the Construction Industry.
• Strong understanding of debits and credits, balance sheet reconciliation, budgeting, and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting Quick Books software mandatory.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members, vendors & customers.
• A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not required; relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records by managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure all accounts are accurate and up-to-date.
• Prepare budgets and assist in financial forecasting to support strategic planning.
• Utilize accounting software Quick Books for efficient bookkeeping processes.
• Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data.
• Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Balance all bank statements.
• Prepare weekly payroll.
• Prepare Surety information to CPA, Bi-Annually.
• Complete knowledge of Certified Payroll, Portals & ability to pull certified QB Reports.
• Job Costing data entry.
