About the position

We are looking for a diligent Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This role involves a variety of accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, bank transfers, and maintaining cash accounts. The successful candidate will also play a vital role in the reconciliation process and setting up integrations from Excel. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing and maintaining accounts payable and receivable, ensuring that cash accounts are current and up-to-date, and conducting bank transfers as necessary. Regular reviews of cash functions will be required to ensure accuracy, and the candidate will assist with the reconciliation process using NetSuite. In addition to these responsibilities, the Full Charge Bookkeeper will set up and manage integrations from Microsoft Excel, perform journal entry uploads, and utilize various accounting software systems and Microsoft Office Suites for day-to-day tasks. The role will also involve conducting billing functions and bank reconciliations as required, leveraging skills in ADP - Financial Services, Microsoft Outlook, and other relevant software. This position is crucial for maintaining the financial health of the organization and requires a proactive approach to managing financial records and transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and maintaining accounts payable and receivable

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
  • Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook
  • Ability to handle Accounting Functions
  • Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Capability to perform Bank Reconciliations
  • Experience in Billing Functions
  • Full Charge Bookkeeping skills are mandatory
  • Must be able to manage and maintain financial records
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential
  • Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Should have a strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations.
