About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure accuracy in all accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, accounting principles, and financial reporting. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Familiarity with construction industry cost coding would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
• Manage payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation.
• Prepare financial reports for management review, including budget vs. actual comparisons.
• Maintain organized financial records in compliance with company policies.
• Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
• Utilize accounting software such as ComputerEase for efficient record-keeping.

Requirements

• 5 years of bookkeeping experience
• Strong understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles
• Proficient in financial report writing with attention to detail
• Experience with payroll processing and related compliance requirements
• Ability to perform balance sheet reconciliation accurately
• Knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures
• Familiarity with general ledger reconciliation practices
• Proficient in using accounting software, particularly ComputerEase
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and provide insights.
