About the position

The Full Charge Bookkeeper at Prince Accountancy Corporation is responsible for managing the financial records of both the company and its clients. This role involves a variety of accounting tasks, including maintaining the general ledger, processing payroll, and preparing tax returns, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Prepare and process payroll.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Conduct double-entry bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Prepare adjusting journal entries.
• Utilize financial software to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
• Work with accountants and clients regarding QuickBooks.

Requirements

• 5 years of work-related experience in bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks online and desktop.
• Experience with adjusting journal entries.
• Proficient in general ledger reconciliation and bank reconciliation processes.
• Familiarity with corporate accounting practices and financial concepts.
• Ability to analyze debits and credits accurately within financial statements.
• Proficient in using various financial software applications for accounting tasks.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
