About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for multiple companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with a focus on accounts payable, bank reconciliations, payroll processing, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, with an emphasis on accounts payable for multiple companies.
• Conduct bank reconciliations.
• Post journal entries.
• Process payroll and pay payroll taxes and corporate taxes online.
• Manage cash effectively.
• Reconcile credit cards.
• Create and review monthly financial reports.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare schedules for outside Accountant.
• Assist with Worker Compensation Audits.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Knowledge of Excel is a must.
• Knowledge of Peachtree (Sage 50) is a plus.
