About the position

The Full Charge Bookkeeper will manage all aspects of accounting operations for a local company, including the preparation of financial statements, budgeting, and maintaining accurate financial records. This part-time position requires a detail-oriented individual with proven bookkeeping experience and proficiency in accounting software.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Process accounts payable and receivable
  • Manage bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
  • Perform month-end and year-end close processes
  • Handle tax preparation and filings
  • Provide financial analysis and reports to management

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper
  • Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience
