About the position

Offenhauser Co. is looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage financial records and ensure accurate reporting in Houston, TX. The role involves overseeing job cost accounting, general ledger maintenance, and payroll processing within a two-person department. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with QuickBooks and a strong background in bookkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Manage job cost accounting using QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop.
• Complete general ledger (G/L) and financial statements (F/S).
• Handle payroll processing and bank reconciliations.
• Collaborate with a team of two in the bookkeeping department.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in bookkeeping and job cost accounting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop.
• Experience with financial report writing and cost accounting.
• Strong office management skills.
