The Full Charge Bookkeeper position at Ball Tagawa Growers involves managing comprehensive financial record-keeping and reporting tasks. Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Record day-to-day financial transactions.
• Ensure timely payments of vendor invoices.
• Issue invoices and ensure the timely collection of receivables.
• Conduct quarterly sales tax reporting.
• Perform annual 1099 reporting.
• Manage month-end close, including journal entries.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets, with commentary.
• Generate management reports as needed.
• Handle sensitive information confidentially.
• Provide administrative support as needed.
• Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and best practices in bookkeeping.

Requirements

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• High school diploma plus proven bookkeeping experience in lieu of a degree.
• 3 years of bookkeeping experience preferred.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel with advanced skills including pivot tables and formulas.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Typing skills of 40 wpm or better and 10-key by touch.
