About the position

The Full Cycle Accounts Payable Clerk / Accounting Administrative Assistant at Tekline Electrical Services, LLC is responsible for supporting the accounting department with various clerical and administrative tasks. This role involves managing accounts payable functions, assisting with vendor management, and performing basic office duties to ensure smooth operations within the accounting team.

Responsibilities

  • Entering and maintaining vendor and subcontractor files, information, W9's and processing 1099's.
  • Entering high volume Accounts Payable invoices with job costing, daily.
  • Performing full cycle Accounts Payable duties.
  • Assisting the Company Accountant with managing vendor/subcontractor lien waivers and pre-liens by project.
  • Monthly reconciliation of vendor/subcontractor statements.
  • Inputting credit card charges and monthly reconciliation in software and other assigned tasks.
  • Working closely with the Company Accountant to assist in other accounting duties needed.
  • Filing, scanning and other related functions.
  • Flexibility with job duties growing, once acclimated, depending on the needs of the department.

Requirements

  • Basic office software experience in Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, etc.
  • Some basic accounting experience.
  • SAGE experience highly preferred but not required.
