About the position

The Full Service/High Volume Server at Planet Hollywood Orlando is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience characterized by warmth and enthusiasm. This part-time role requires a commitment to excellence and adherence to the restaurant's service standards, along with effective communication and cash handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every guest receives unparalleled food and beverage service.
• Demonstrate a commitment to excellence through execution of service standards.
• Maintain knowledge of all table numbers and floor plans.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage products.
• Utilize salesmanship techniques to enhance guest experience.
• Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Work scheduled food-running shifts as needed.
• Efficiently use the Aloha point of sale system.
• Handle cash accurately and understand accepted forms of payment.
• Practice and understand alcohol awareness.
• Execute tray service delivery and beverage tray service.
• Maintain a professional and gracious demeanor at all times.
• Handle all guest inquiries personally.
• Perform all opening, running, and closing duties to standard.
• Complete any job functions requested by the leadership team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• At least one year of experience in a similar position in a high-volume restaurant.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Experience with cash handling and POS systems.
