About the position

As an Application Developer at AMD, you will be integral to the design and development of IT applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create responsive and feature-rich applications using Python and Java-based frameworks. This role provides an opportunity to apply your skills, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to innovative projects that enhance computing experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with IT and Business teams, including architects and developers, to create intuitive user interfaces for web applications.
  • Develop and maintain the front-end of applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python-based frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
  • Implement back-end functionality and database integration using Python.
  • Ensure seamless communication between front-end and back-end components of applications.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to deliver high-quality applications.
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
  • Stay updated on the latest web and application development trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development processes.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python-based frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
  • Strong understanding of back-end development with Python.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
  • Experience with UI frameworks such as Bootstrap, React, or Angular.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Understanding of responsive design principles.
  • Knowledge of web development best practices and responsive design.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Linux system administration skills beyond basic knowledge.
