About the position

Matchtech is collaborating with a key client in the United States to recruit a Full Stack Developer for an exciting opportunity. This position is designed for individuals who are looking to engage in a dynamic and challenging environment, where they can leverage their skills in both front-end and back-end development. The role is structured as an initial 9-month contract, providing a unique chance to contribute to significant projects while working closely with a talented team in Kansas City. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications, ensuring a seamless user experience and robust functionality. This position requires a strong understanding of various programming languages and frameworks, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable web applications using modern technologies.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement user-friendly interfaces.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for both front-end and back-end components.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and reliability.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
  • Experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails.
  • Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Nice-to-haves
