About the position
The Full-Stack Apps Developer position at Cognito Cyber Group involves supporting the development of applications aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and automating processes within the Intelligence Community. The role requires collaboration with IT mission partners to implement state-of-the-art IT solutions and ensure alignment with overarching digital architecture. The developer will also work closely with customer technical interfaces to ensure technology plans are in sync with customer architecture.
Responsibilities
- Support applications development for various tools and initiatives focused on streamlining operations and automating processes.
- Promote state-of-the-art IT solutions and collaborate with IT mission partners to share technology and lessons learned.
- Ensure records management processes and requirements are included in the early design stages of IT solutions across the Intelligence Community.
- Work with customer technical interfaces to align future technology plans with overall customer architecture.
Requirements
- Ability to lead and direct design thinking for applications.
- Experience with Cloud Formation.
- Experience with Automation and Containerization.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes or Mesos-Marathon and Docker containers.
- Strong working knowledge of Angular 8+, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Google Material.
- Working experience with Git, GitHub or GitLab, code reviews.
- Experience with Jenkins.
- Experience with Rest APIs.
- Working experience with AWS technologies (EC2, S3, SQS, SNS).
- Experience with application frameworks (Spring Boot, NodeJS-NestJS).
- Expert knowledge of UI design principles and techniques.
- Ability to work well with others as well as independently.
- Ability to work well in a constantly evolving work environment.
- Strong presentation skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with containerized architecture like Mesos-Marathon is highly desired.
- Experience with UI testing frameworks.
- Experience with Docker/Docker Compose.
- Experience with Python or willingness to learn.
- Experience with JavaScript charting libraries such as ChartJS, D3.
- Experience with PDF JavaScript libraries such as pdf.js.
- Experience building js libraries/NPM modules.
- Experience with multi-environment deployments.
- Experience in an Agile environment.
