Hack House is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Backend Developer who excels in backend development, particularly in creating scalable and efficient backend applications. The role involves architecting and maintaining robust backend systems, managing database infrastructure, and implementing telecommunications solutions. Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain scalable, high-performing backend systems.
• Manage and optimize database infrastructure for performance, scalability, and availability.
• Build serverless applications and infrastructure that scale efficiently on AWS.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and implement creative solutions before they become problems.
• Work closely with the team on server provisioning, automation, and infrastructure optimization.
• Implement and oversee telecommunications solutions and web servers, ensuring seamless integrations.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in building robust, scalable backend systems using Node.js and AWS services.
• Proficient in architecting and maintaining databases for high availability, clustering, and scaling with MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, and Redis/Memcached.
• Strong understanding of serverless architectures, with hands-on experience scaling applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and CloudFormation.
• Experience setting up and managing telecommunications infrastructure, with an understanding of SIP/VoIP protocols.
• Solid knowledge of TCP/UDP, Linux servers, and web server management, especially NGINX.
• Familiarity with GIT for version control in collaborative team environments.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Twilio SDK, Asterisk, Freeswitch, and Machine Learning/AI.
