Responsibilities

  • Oversee the stability and reliability of cloud-based applications, troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and non-production environments, and perform regular health checks.
  • Continuously improve the codebase by implementing best practices in coding, testing, and automation to enhance performance and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess, prioritize, and implement incremental updates and enhancements to existing applications.
  • Utilize AWS monitoring tools (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, etc.) and other observability tools to proactively identify performance bottlenecks, track system metrics, and ensure optimized application performance.
  • Ensure applications are compliant with security and regulatory requirements, implementing updates to meet evolving security standards.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of system architecture, changes, and processes, and contribute to team knowledge sharing to support continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent years of work experience.
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with 3 - 5 years' experience.
  • Proficient in C# .Net application development.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services integration.
  • Experience with code analysis and unit testing.
  • Good understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, etc.) and a strong understanding of cloud-native design patterns.
  • Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js) and experience with responsive UI/UX design.
  • Strong skills in server-side technologies, ideally Node.js, Python, or Java, with a focus on API development and integration.
  • Experience with both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB) databases within a cloud context.

Nice-to-haves

  • Worked in regulated software development environment.
  • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, or SysOps Administrator).
  • Familiarity with serverless architecture and event-driven programming in AWS.
