About the position
The Full Stack Developer position at World Wide Technology requires an individual with an active TS/SCI security clearance to manage both front-end and back-end development tasks. The role is pivotal in ensuring the security and advancement of IT applications, requiring proficiency in various programming languages and database technologies. The developer will work in a dynamic, fast-paced Agile environment, contributing to complex systems while maintaining clear communication with team members and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Agile methodologies to work efficiently within a development team, adapting to rapid changes and delivering high-quality software solutions.
- Design, code, and unit test both front-end and back-end solutions for integrated systems using technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Go, and SQL.
- Develop integration code to connect and interface various systems and services, ensuring solutions adhere to open standards and interoperability requirements.
- Create prototypes and mock-ups to demonstrate solution designs, aesthetics, and functionality, rapidly iterating based on user feedback.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation for all developed solutions, including design specifications, implementation details, and user guides.
- Analyze user feedback and system requirements to make informed updates and improvements to existing solutions.
Requirements
- IAT Level II Certification
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of professional web development experience
- Proficiency in front-end and back-end programming languages and SQL/No-SQL database technologies
- Experience with ReactJS, NodeJS, Python, PostgreSQL, or alternatives like VueJS, Go, MySQL, ElasticSearch
- Proven experience working in Agile environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and user-centered design principles
- Knowledgeable about web accessibility requirements and best practices
- Strong organizational skills with the capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Self-motivated individual who is proactive and driven to achieve high standards in development tasks
- Active TS/SCI clearance required and eligibility to obtain a CI poly
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with additional programming languages such as Go or VueJS
- Familiarity with ElasticSearch
