About the position

Travelers is seeking a Software Engineer II to join our organization as we grow and transform our Technology landscape. This position is crucial for completing advanced end-to-end engineering tasks for specific system assignments. The individual will be responsible for designing, developing, analyzing, configuring, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, documenting, and implementing solutions based on user or system specifications. This role involves consulting with users to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications, managing interactions between systems and other technical support areas, and defining technical requirements while coordinating team resources to solve problems. As a Software Engineer II, you will perform analysis, design, development, and configuration functions with a high degree of accuracy and speed, operating as an individual contributor to team goals. You will also be tasked with performing analysis, assessment, and resolution for defects and incidents of advanced complexity, escalating issues appropriately.
