CNA is seeking a Full Stack Developer who will play a crucial role in providing high-level expertise in systems analysis, design, application development, and integration. This position is designed for an individual contributor who will lead, architect, design, develop, or integrate business applications to meet the needs of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating complex client area requirements, preparing application system specifications, and developing efficient and cost-effective application solutions. This includes ongoing system maintenance and issue resolution. The role may also involve leading the integration of vendor applications and consulting resources with existing applications, as well as mentoring programming staff throughout the program development, testing, and implementation processes. In this position, the Full Stack Developer will coordinate activities with client areas and other IT departments, such as infrastructure and testing. They will research and evaluate new solutions and architectures, recommending the most efficient and cost-effective options for system design. The developer will act as a liaison between clients, vendors, and the applications area, assisting with relationship management and contract negotiations. Additionally, they may participate in developing recommendations for architecture direction and applications portfolio, and support the implementation of applications into production and testing environments. Candidates may be considered for either a Full Stack Developer or a Senior Full Stack Developer position, depending on their experience and qualifications. The role requires a solid technical knowledge of programming languages, databases, and application development alternatives, as well as proven analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have experience with React and NodeJS for front-end development, Java for back-end development, and familiarity with the Spring ecosystem and cloud-native patterns. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is required, along with a minimum of seven years of relevant experience.
