About the position

CNA is seeking a Full Stack Developer or Sr. Full Stack Developer to provide high-level expertise in systems analysis, application development, and integration of complex systems applications. This role involves leading and architecting business applications, ensuring they meet business needs while providing guidance to team members. The position requires a strong technical background and the ability to mentor others, with a focus on delivering efficient and cost-effective application solutions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate complex client area requirements and processes to design application system specifications.
• Develop, test, and implement efficient application solutions, including issue resolution and ongoing system maintenance.
• Lead the integration of vendor applications and consulting resources with existing applications.
• Act as a technical consultant to programming staff and mentor them in all phases of program development.
• Participate in instructing, directing, and checking the design work of others.
• Coordinate activities with client areas and other IT departments.
• Research and evaluate new solutions and recommend efficient systems design alternatives.
• Act as a liaison between clients, vendors, and the applications area.
• Support the implementation of applications into production and testing environments.

Requirements

• 3-7+ years of related experience in systems analysis and application development.
• Solid technical knowledge of high-level programming languages, databases, and application development alternatives.
• In-depth knowledge of the system development life cycle and technological alternatives.
• Proven knowledge of client area functions and systems.
• Proficiency in at least one higher-level programming language, such as Java.
• Experience with React and NodeJS for front-end development and Java for back-end development.
• Working experience with JDK 11 and JDK 17.
• Knowledge of the Spring ecosystem, including Spring 5+, Spring Data, and microservice patterns.
• Proficiency in Cloud Native patterns and experience with Kubernetes and cloud providers like GCP, AWS, and Azure.
• Solid SQL/relational database foundation.
