About the position

ManTech is seeking a Full-Stack Software Developer to support the DTRA contract's backend platform needs. This role involves utilizing the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks to deliver scalable solutions while working collaboratively with the development team.

Responsibilities

• Use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks to deliver solutions.
• Create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability.
• Perform implementation, regular problem solving, maintenance, and support for agile software development to modernize systems.
• Develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Work independently with some guidance and may review or guide activities of more junior employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of software development experience (or additional four years of experience in lieu of a degree).
• Experience developing web services against big data technologies using Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience with Java Spring and Spring Security.
• Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher.
• Experience deploying Kubernetes within a platform or cloud offerings, including GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience with automation tools, including SaltStack, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Experience with Helm and Terraform.
• Experience developing web applications using JavaScript or TypeScript, and a framework such as Angular, React, or Vue.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Compliance Certification, including Security+ or CISSP within 6 months of hire.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AWS or Azure.
• Experience with testing frameworks, including Jasmine, Karma, or Selenium.
• Experience with distributed computing frameworks, such as Apache Spark.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks.
• Current DoD 8570 Compliance Certification, including Security+ or CISSP.
