About the position

Fidelity TalentSource is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join their team in Jersey City, New Jersey. This role focuses on building applications that support the Prime Brokerage business, requiring a UI developer and designer who is passionate and responsible. The position involves designing screens using Angular, maintaining legacy applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product offerings.

Responsibilities

• Design screens using the latest version of Angular.
• Maintain existing applications in legacy technology while modernizing them.
• Analyze and design data structures to support various applications and new features, taking them from concept to deployment.
• Share ideas to improve products and develop skills in new technologies.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience as a developer and designer in UI technologies, specifically Angular 8+, with knowledge of Java and relational databases such as Oracle and MS SQL Server.
• Strong programming skills in Angular 8+, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Skilled in Bootstrap, NodeJS, TypeScript, and other advanced JavaScript skills.
• Proven knowledge of AG-grid, Highcharts, and other graphical display tools.
• Ability to support and maintain JQuery and AngularJS applications.
• Experience running builds using Jenkins and/or Maven.
• Familiarity with source code management tools such as Git Hub.
• Strong data analysis skills and coding experience in the financial industry, preferably in capital markets/prime brokerage.
• Decent RDBMS skills, able to write SQL queries.
• Experience working on Linux platforms and knowledge of Unix commands.
• Experience working as a team member in Agile methodology.
• AWS Cloud experience is a plus.
• Financial industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to understand glossaries and terminologies in the financial industry.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams.
• Good communication skills with both technology and business partners.
• Quick learner, adaptable, and has the right attitude to work across teams to find and deploy solutions.
• Committed to timely and quality deliverables.
