About the position

RTX BBN Technologies, a subsidiary of RTX, is seeking a Full Stack Developer II to join our team at the Cambridge, MA headquarters. This position is integral to our mission of advancing technology through innovative research and development. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be involved in developing novel program analysis and restructuring tools to enhance software resilience, intelligence, and adaptability. You will contribute to the evolution of technology-augmented civilian and military operators who depend on cutting-edge technologies for effective planning, decision-making, and communication. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your contributions will directly impact significant technological advancements. In this position, you will leverage your expertise in programming languages such as C/C++ and Rust, as well as your understanding of Linux OS internals, to create solutions that address complex challenges. You will be expected to apply your knowledge and skills to develop software that meets the needs of our clients and enhances operational capabilities. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement in a fast-paced research environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop novel program analysis tools.
  • Understand and restructure existing tools to enhance software resilience.
  • Contribute to the development of technology-augmented civilian and military operators.
  • Collaborate with team members to solve complex problems using cutting-edge technologies.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with a minimum of 2 years of direct experience (excluding internships).
  • Willingness and ability to apply for and be granted a US Government Security clearance.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Experience with C/C++ programming languages.
  • Familiarity with Linux OS internals.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Rust programming language.
  • Active Secret clearance.
