About the position

The Full Stack Developer position involves working remotely to design, develop, and maintain web applications for the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS). The role requires extensive experience in both front-end and back-end technologies, particularly in Java/J2EE, Spring, and Angular frameworks. The developer will be responsible for building enterprise applications and ensuring the integration of various web services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web-based solutions using Angular and Spring frameworks.
• Implement back-end REST API development and integrate with front-end applications.
• Create and validate SOAP and REST-based clients and web services.
• Utilize AWS Cloud for application deployment and management.
• Collaborate with team members to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in web applications and services.
• Participate in Agile project methodologies and lead projects as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5 years of experience in full stack development with Java/J2EE and Spring.
• Extensive experience with Angular framework and web client-side technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS).
• Proficiency in REST and SOAP web services development.
• Experience with AWS Cloud and GitHub.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and experience with Oracle, DB2, or MS SQL Server.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with IBM ODM, IBM Integration Bus, and IBM MQ.
• Familiarity with enterprise architectural patterns including JEE design patterns.
• Knowledge of cloud deployment and security models.
• Experience with new versions of Angular.
