About the position
Flexion Inc is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design and develop meaningful applications that contribute to high-quality healthcare for millions of Americans. This remote position emphasizes autonomy, collaboration, and a low-bureaucracy culture, where every team member is a leader responsible for the team's success. The role involves working on large-scale enterprise systems, primarily in an agile environment, and may require minimal on-site client work.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop applications for large-scale enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary agile team to enhance an enterprise government system.
- Perform migration tasks between AWS accounts.
- Write high-quality code efficiently and develop Restful JSON APIs.
- Participate in Agile application development and Test-Driven Development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering experience.
- BS (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field.
- Self-motivated with strong communication skills.
- Passion for learning new technologies quickly.
- Experience with Java and JavaScript development.
- Experience with SQL.
Nice-to-haves
- DevOps experience.
- Experience with CSS.
- Experience with Angular.
- Experience in shifting testing left and full test automation.
- Familiarity with AWS.
