About the position

The Full Stack Developer role focuses on upgrading and optimizing high-volume eCommerce websites from Magento 1.9x to Magento 2. The position involves both back-end and front-end development, ensuring a seamless user experience while utilizing APIs and scalable technologies. The developer will collaborate on project planning, design reviews, and server optimizations to meet the evolving needs of customers and the business.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade existing eCommerce websites to Magento 2 and enhance user experiences.
• Build and maintain back-end and front-end code for new and existing web applications.
• Optimize server configurations and refactor application code to improve performance.
• Collaborate on project planning and design reviews to deliver impactful solutions.
• Work with APIs, implement unit testing, and utilize version control tools like Git or SVN.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Magento 1.9 or Magento 2 development experience.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Knowledge of eCommerce UX design and theming/styling with HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
• Experience with APIs and version control tools like Git or SVN.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Zend Framework or similar PHP frameworks.
• Unit testing/API testing experience.
• Knowledge of other eCommerce platforms.
