About the position

Captivation Software is seeking a mid/senior level full-stack developer to enhance and maintain the WEBCANDID tool, which is crucial for tracking and managing intelligence reports for the Intelligence Community. The role involves both development and sustainment tasks, including modernizing the data storage and metrics display components of the tool. The position offers opportunities for innovation and decision-making in a supportive team environment, with the possibility of telework in the future.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain the WEBCANDID tool for intelligence report management.
• Create enhancements based on high-priority mission needs.
• Maintain and troubleshoot the existing code base.
• Participate in the partial re-write of the data storage and metrics display portions of WEBCANDID.
• Provide emergency 24/7 call-in support on a rotating pager schedule.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent experience).
• Must hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph.
• Proficiency in Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Elasticsearch and MongoDB.
• Understanding of interfaces between multiple applications.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AWS.
• Familiarity with Vue, React, or Angular frameworks.
• Knowledge of RESTful web services.
• Experience with Oracle databases.
• Familiarity with agency reporting tools and classification policies.
• Experience working in an agile environment using JIRA and Confluence.

• Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 depending on experience.
